Nestled in the mountains of Mariposa, California. At High Sierra Bernedoodles, our dogs are more than pets - they’re part of our family. Our passion is raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized Bernedoodles that grow into loving lifelong companions.
With a strong focus on ethical breeding, early socialization, and genetic health, we raise each puppy with love, structure, and purpose. Our home-based program ensures every puppy is nurtured in a family setting, exposed to children, daily routines, and the beauty of nature from day one.

Our Process
1.) Application
Start by filling out our Puppy Application Form. This helps us understand your lifestyle, preferences, and what you’re looking for in a puppy. Our goal is to make great matches, not just sales.
2.) Approval & Waitlist
Once your application is approved, we’ll reach out with a phone call to officially welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and walk you through the next steps. After that, you’ll be invited to place a $500 non-refundable deposit. This secures your spot in line for upcoming litters and goes toward your total puppy price.
3.) Watch Your Puppy Grow
We’ll keep you updated throughout the process with photos, milestone updates, and temperament notes. We also share tips to help you prepare your home for your new. We also offer FaceTime or Zoom calls so you can see the puppies in real time and connect with them before choosing.
4.) Final Payment & Home-Prep
Final payment is due by 8 weeks. We’ll coordinate pickup or delivery and go over feeding, crate tips, vet needs, and everything you need to feel ready. At 8 weeks old, your puppy goes home with:

Crystal holds a Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling, is a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, and brings a powerful combination of dog training expertise and human behavioral insight. Health Guarantee
1. Initial Health Guarantee (72 Hours)
Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of pick-up or delivery. You must take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving them.
If your vet finds a life-threatening congenital issue, notify us immediately.
Provide written documentation from your vet within 72 hours.
If confirmed, we will offer a refund or a replacement puppy (when available).
Common puppy issues such as worms or mild parasites are not covered.
2. Genetic Health Guarantee (1 Year)
(We guarantee against life-threatening genetic disorders for up to One year from the puppy’s date of birth.)
Conditions covered include: Hip Dysplasia, Degenerative Myelopathy, PRA, and severe heart defects.
Diagnosis must be confirmed by a licensed vet with documentation.
If confirmed, you may choose a replacement puppy or a partial refund of up to %50 percent of the original purchase price will be issued to help offset veterinary care or treatment costs.
3. What’s Not Covered
Injuries, neglect, poor nutrition, or lack of vet care
Parasites, viruses, or infections contracted after the puppy leaves us
Cosmetic conditions (e.g., cherry eye, minor hernias, or bite alignment)
Conditions due to overexertion or early spay/neuter
4. Buyer Responsibilities
Complete vet check within 72 hours of pickup
Keep vaccinations, deworming, and vet visits up to date
Provide a healthy, safe home and proper nutrition
Limit intense physical activity until 18 months of age
Delay spay/neuter until at least 12 months old unless medically necessary
5. Lifetime Return Policy
If life circumstances change and you cannot keep your dog, please return them to us. We will always take back our puppies. No refunds will be issued, but we are committed to helping with rehoming if needed.
Terms & Conditions
By placing a deposit or purchasing a puppy, you agree to the terms outlined.
General Care
Buyer affirms they are 18 years of age or older.
Buyer agrees to provide proper and sufficient food, water, shelter, veterinary care, and humane treatment for the Dog at all times.
Buyer will ensure the Dog is examined annually by a licensed veterinarian, including all necessary vaccinations and preventive care, at their expense.
Buyer agrees the Dog shall not be used for vivisection, experimentation, or any inhumane purpose.
Buyer will not sell, abandon, surrender, lease, or transfer the Puppy to any pet shop, shelter, research facility, or laboratory. Unauthorized transfer will result in a $5,000 penalty.
Buyer will not permit the Puppy to become a public nuisance or run at large. Proper identification (tags, microchip) must be maintained. Buyer will take immediate action to retrieve the Puppy if lost or found at a public/private location.
1. Puppy Health Guarantee
All puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to leaving Seller.
Puppy is guaranteed to be in good health and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming at the time of pickup.
Seller provides a 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee covering life-threatening congenital conditions.
Buyer must have the Puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup for this guarantee to remain valid.
2. Vaccination & Deworming
Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming beginning at 8 weeks of age.
A complete vaccination and deworming record will be provided at pickup.
Ongoing veterinary care is the Buyer’s responsibility. Failure to follow veterinary guidance voids the health guarantee.
3. Payment Terms & Deposit Policy
The total purchase price of the Puppy is $2,500.
A $500 non-refundable deposit has been paid by Buyer and applied toward the purchase price.
The remaining balance of $2,000 is due on or before the Puppy’s pickup date.
Accepted payments: Cash, Zelle, or Check (made payable to Jordan & Evelina Esquivel).
4. Pickup & Delivery
Puppies may go home at 8 weeks of age.
Standard pickup is in Mariposa, CA, unless alternate arrangements are made.
Delivery (ground or flight nanny) may be available at Buyer’s expense.
A $20/day boarding fee applies for Puppies not picked up within 5 days of the scheduled go-home date.
5. Spay/Neuter Agreement
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all Puppies are sold as pets only.
Buyer agrees to have Puppy spayed or neutered by 12 months of age and provide proof of procedure.
Failure to comply will void the health guarantee.
6. Refunds & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future litter.
If Seller cannot provide a Puppy due to health concerns or litter size, Buyer may choose a full refund or transfer deposit to a future litter.
No refunds are issued after final payment.
7. Return & Rehoming Policy
If Buyer can no longer care for the Puppy, Buyer agrees to contact Seller immediately.
Seller will assist with rehoming or accept the Puppy back.
Puppy may not be surrendered to a shelter, rescue, or third party without Seller’s written approval.
No refunds will be issued for returns.
8. Breeder Rights
Seller reserves the right to refuse sale if Buyer’s home or circumstances are deemed unsuitable.
Seller retains first-pick rights from any litter for breeding purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We breed F1B Standard Bernedoodles — a cross between an F1 Bernedoodle and a Standard Poodle. These puppies are known for their low-shedding coats, high intelligence, and sweet, loyal personalities.

An F1B Bernedoodle is approximately 75% Poodle and 25% Bernese Mountain Dog. This generation tends to be more allergy-friendly, with curlier coats and excellent trainability.

Puppies go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. We’ll schedule your go-home day in advance and provide tips to help you prepare.
